Tremont School's 79th Black Belt Ceremony a Huge Success
We would like to thank everyone who attended and participated in Tremont School's 79th Black Belt Ceremony last Saturday. This was the largest ceremony ever with a record number of over 150 guests attending.
Notable guests included Shihan Mark Griffith, Shihan Virginia Holmes, Shihan Miguel Morales, Sensei Nam Ho, Sensei Robert Brogdon, Sensei Sean McFarland, Sensei George Curbelo, Sensei Kevin Medina, Sensei Anthony Medina, Sensei Jose Vinales, Soke Angel Guerra - Kova Ryu, Master Lugo - Tae Kwon Do, Soke Dexter - Cockburn Kishindo Ryu Jitsu, and Master Dave Thomas - Power of Self Harlem.
Soke Antonio Pereira Jr. was out of town this weekend and could not attend on Saturday but did stop by the school on Thursday to wish everyone his best.

Shihan Medina's MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) class demonstrated a UFC-style fighting match that wiled up the crowd, and as a Grand Finale, Sensei Miguel Lopez Jr. performed a dynamic Tae Kwon Do presentation.
Dinner was later held at Willie's Steakhouse where we took over the entire dining area!
